I purchased this gift for my son and daughter in law when we knew that my grand daughter was going to be spending several months in the NICU after birth. It arrived very quickly, packaged beautifully, and my son and daughter in law loved it. The NICU staff at Cincinnati Childrens hospital was very receptive with the cards and let us decorate the isolette with the picture cards and even took pictures for them using the milestones cards. The parents and all the grandparents read the articles and blogs on this site as well, and learned a lot about what is expected of visitors in the NICU and what our little one needed during that NICU stay. I highly recommend this gift for any parent facing a NICU experience with their baby, not just for premies. Our baby was a full term infant with an abdominal wall defect requiring surgery, but my daughter in law took the advice from the articles and journaled and used every item provided in this gift.
I was going to buy some to put in a gift basket for my twins care team but if one keychain cost $10, I can't do that on a budget. I thought it would be that price for a group of 4 or something and I could pick which sayings. I feel most families who have preterm babies are barely prepared for the early arrival and may not have so much extra to spend so soon. Still I want to find some cool affordable items to thank my boys nurses. Sorry but I can't spend this much on one keychain.
I had a friend gift birth unexpectedly at 28w and having had twins at 24w in 2011 & know well the difficulties of having a long term NICU stay. This was a box of all the things you as a mom didn’t know you needed but your heart did. It brought tears to the parents eyes and well as the hospital staff. Excellent!
These calendars are the cutest and our families love them. The sticker options are so cute and allow for a lot of fun by parents and caregivers.
I was happy to have found this product. There are long hard days in the NICU and every little milestone should be documented and celebrated. I hope they love this gift
Purchased for my granddaughter who had just delivered a preemie baby. She is using it to document her babies progress in the NICU. She enjoys working on it and is ver appreciative 💕
My son and wife love it. They donated 1 journal to another family that also loved it. When feeling like you’re in a cloud, it’s good to have a journal to make notes. This way they can go back to it when they come out of the cloud to remember what happen.
